Whitemud Resources Announces Signing of Supply & Distribution Agreement with BASF Construction Chemicals

Whitemud Resources is pleased to have formed a supply and distribution agreement with BASF Construction Chemicals for the marketing and distribution of Whitemud^MK to the ready mix concrete, precast concrete, concrete block, concrete brick, concrete pipe, and mining industries in the United States.  The marketing of Whitemud’s metakaolin product will be directed by the Admixture Systems business of BASF Construction Chemicals, a leading provider of innovative admixtures for concrete used in the ready mix, precast, manufactured concrete products, underground construction and paving markets throughout the North American region.

The Admixture Systems business of BASF Construction Chemicals was founded in Cleveland, Ohio in 1909 as Master Builders, Inc.

Whitemud Resources Inc. has developed a world-class kaolin deposit in southern Saskatchewan to manufacture metakaolin, a performance enhancing additive to concrete.  Whitemud's large kaolin resource and unique process positions the company to be the leading supplier of metakaolin to the North American concrete industry.

Our product, Whitemud^MK is made from kaolin, a naturally occuring clay that is mined and processed into high grade metakaolin.  It is a unique concrete additive that enhances the strength, versatility and durability of all concrete products, including ready-mix, oilwell cement and pre-cast.  Whitemud^MK can replace up to 20% of the cement used to manufacture concrete while enhancing the performance and reducing the cost.
